Lightroom stuffs this picture up, creating all sorts of artefacts. Maybe that is unfair and needs some clarifying. In the software original the picture looks ok and totally white after editing. It turns to a dirty grey while uploading, artefacts are extremely exaggerated when any sharpening is applied.
By the way, this is probably a Titan stick insect (Acrophylla titan), size about 30cm. It was photographed from a distance through a mesh wire fence (Settings ISO 400, aperture 5.6, shutterspeed 640 on 400mm). The animal clung to what looked like a plastic or ceramic building surface. Something sticking into the frame on the bottom right has been cleared out using Lightroom. Also the frame was changed from landscape into portrait.
